Hi folks,

I learned some things in this talk. It starts a bit slow. But some dramatic stuff !!

My favorite part was where the interviewer said, "So are you saying there's meat in every box of cereal." Fuhrman answered with great aplomb.

I think he also did what he said to look out for-- he said eating mushrooms decreased risk of cancer by 64 per cent and even more when combined with greens or green tea, but he didn't say if that was an absolute value or a relative value. Anyone know?

And while I have your attention-- is the nourishment of bok choy in the green leaves as I suspect? It is very expensive if so because paying about two dollars a pound for bok choy, you get very little of the weight in leaves.

Hi Dolores,

Re: is the nourishment of bok choy in the green leaves as I suspect?

The greens have more relative nutrition than the absolute nutrition in the whites. However, to reaffirm, the whites are relatively nutritious. That's absolutely how I feel. If you agree, eat them both. :-)

Dr. F was great but the interviewer didn't have a clue!
