Does milk cause MS?

Hi jc,

Thanks - fascinating reference. (A bit technical.) A subsequent article published in 2012, found among those that referenced your article, is this one:

The incidence of Multiple Sclerosis has increased 3X in Crete, in the last 30 years. 30 years ago, women had MS about 90% as much as men. Now, women have MS 200% more often than men. The largest affect group is women that moved from rural area to urban area. Among the changes, was use of imported pasteurized cow milk, replacing local goat milk. Other changes: "Compared to controls, female patients with MS more often used contraceptives and were older at first childbirth. Besides smoking, alcohol drinking and vitamin intake was more common among female patients with MS. Also, the distribution of childhood diseases and chronic medical conditions differed significantly between patients with MS and controls. "

This subsequent article certainly could be used as support that milk drinking contributes to (or causes) MS.
