For one thing, berries are very high in anti-oxidants. All red/blue/purple fruits are very healthy. That is berries all over.

I buy fresh berries and freeze them. They are not too hard to eat, and will keep indefinitely, Or at least long enough to be eaten and not spoil first, so I can buy them in large containers and enjoy them for a few weeks. Grapes too. I get the 4 lb box at CostCo.

I found the research on anti-oxidants connecting them to prevention of oxidized LDL years ago, and won't let that be forgotten. A low fat and high anti-oxidant diet is key to good health.
