Did Ribavarin/Interferon 1998/1999 about to do the new drug

My 50th B- Day is 7-15 and I really don't want to start before then. Although the pharmacy has already called pushing the meds on me and I hadn't even done the lab work required before I start. Apparently the insurance company needs to make sure I'm no already anemic, or have a thyroid problem. Last time on treatment my thryroid became underactive and overactive. Apparently my treatment 12 years ago was very agressive - out side the norm - I was injecting 5 million units of Interferon daily for the first 30 days and the 3 million units for the remainder of the year. I got through that with missiing only 1 day a week from work. Now it's one shot a week? And it's a pen so I don't have to measure and tap out the air. Great.
