I am 26 years of age and I have recently been diagnosed with the Hep C virus... I have 3 beautiful children and a loving caring man of 5 years and very monogamous..I have NEVER put a needle in my arm or any place on my body.Only Dr.s have. I did NOT have Hep C a year ago when they tested me after having a C-section. My Dr. said I some how got this in the past year. I have no new tattoo's and only have one.I got my only tattoo done when I was 19 years of age and since have been tested a few times for everything and anything..I have always been very paranoid of catching anything. I am very depressed and I am freaking out. I know it says that you cannot get it through kissing but at this point I do NOT know what to believe.I am terrified to kiss my babies even hold them for along period of time.
Now I have read everything i can get my hands on via Internet... In the past year I have gotten into a fist fight and end result was her biting my index and middle finger.. I had to pull my hand out of her mouth to get my hand back and in return ripping the skin on both fingers.. Me being stupid never went to the hospital for Tetanus shot.NOT THINKING SHE HAD HEP C. This is my only thought of where I could have gotten this virus from. I normally DO NOT fight. I walked away and was grabbed by my hair on my own property by a Ex of my husbands. They also have a son together.She is a very mean and nasty woman.. I have never had to deal with the things I have had to deal with before meeting my husband.There son has came to our house with stomach worms,head lice,ring worm, and several other things. And his mother never tells us before hand that he has anything.We have to find out from my husbands son...(just a view of what kind of woman she is) Now I do know she was married to a man that has spent time in prison and has a bunch of prison tattoo's...So I am thinking that if she does have it and she gave it to me that her prison husband is where she got the virus from......
Like I said I have read everything and NOWHERE does it say you can get the virus VIA biting.... I am very upset that it says its a DRUG OR alcohol disease.. I do NOT do either and need to know how can I find out if this is in fact via the bit where I contracted this virus. If she purposely bit me knowing what she had I need and want her prosecuted...Please if anyone can give me any information to find anything out I can...PLEASE HELP!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME... And sorry I am no english major lol

No need to worry. I am a vietnam vet and have had hep C since 1975 from a blood transfusion when i was shot. after that I have 3 sons ages 34, 30,28 all negative and wife also.
so in my case it is proven that you cannot pass it by kissing or sexual contact and all my children are ok.

I got hep c through sexual contact 33 years ago.we had sex often under doctor recomendation for 2nd child.Penis got soar and bled so thats how I caught it.Should of used condom.My wife got it through blood transfusion,passed it to me during sexual contact.Don't believe that story you can't get it through sexual contact because it happened to me.
