I'm presently undergoing the three drug combo treatment, having started it last Sep. I had to give up moderate strength training/ aerobic exercise after becoming I'll during treatment.

Should I try to restart my routine even though I can sometimes become lightheaded?

In moderation,I get winded easily but recover early with a short break.Keep check of your heart rate. The side affects can be against you. Also ask your dr.

I found out why I get winded easily.I needed 3 pints of blood. For some reason Incevek stopped my body from making blood.I was in ICU for two days and needed 3 pints of blood.I also got weak kidneys a red rash from head to foot after being on Incevek on the 10th and stopped Incevek and my face swelled twice the size on the 11th week.Spent 2 days in ICU to recover.Blood pressure was 71 over 40.I think as a genotype 1a,I can slow it down and weaken it,but after 20 months of treatment,I had to stop all treatment.A 20 month of treatment and still got it.Next week is my follow up with my dr.I hope I won my battle with hep c.If not I will just live with it as I have the past 33 years.

Hi! I'm going to start my 3 med treatment in 5 days. I just had the meds delivered yesterday. It has taken almost 4 months to get this started. It seems a little daunting now. All those pills and those shots. I have started Tai Chi classes and highly recommend this type of exersice. It is is low impact, and extremely stress relieving.there are DVDs you can purchase if you can't find any classes, or can't make it to classes. Wish me luck. And good luck to you.

I went to my followup and the results of my blood test showed the hep c was undetected.I did a 11 month of Peg. and Rib.in 2011 and took about 6 months off end started Peg.,Rib, and Incevek.I was on the 3 drug tx for 11 weeks when complications set in.I took my blood test 3 weeks later. My next blood test is in 6 months.Everyone is different on side effects. My mistake was not paying attention to the list of side effects.I had no idea I would get anemia.Keep checking your blood pressure and drink a lot of water and other fluids(juices).I hope you make it through this and on to SVR.
