Hang in there

I was diagnosed a year ago--1a, stage 4 cirrhosis and grade 3 inflammation. Just started interferon/ribavirin 6 weeks ago. My starting viral load is fairly low--650,000 (one good thing). So far my tx has gone fairly well--I have the rash and itchies but Eucerin cream really helps the itch. No reaction to the shots. My biggest complaint is the fatigue which seems to be getting worse and gets me down at times--just have to keep remembering that it will end sometime and 'hang in there'. A lot of my fatigue is from my red and white blood counts being in the basement. Doc and I will discuss this at my next app. I think I'm pretty close to rescue meds for the white blood cell count--but I will do whatever it takes to continue and finish. My first viral load check is due back any day now and have fingers crossed on that front!! Well, I got another case of the 'ramble ons' but wanted to introduce myself. Take care all--ljp60
