I just successfully completed treatment 2 weeks ago. Just try to take it one day at a time and your gastro doc can fill in a lot of blanks for you. He will probably want to do additional tests but that is normal. What got me through my journey was leaning on family, friends, & faith. Please keep us posted.

Once you have antibodies for hepatitis B they do not go away, so it is unlikely that you had hepatitis b 22 years ago. Since you now test negative, you require the hepatitis A and B vaccines.
Need for treatment of HCV depends on numerous factors.
