iam_sam posted:
if a person has hepatitis, is there any way he/she can prevent it from spreading it to his/her spouse (or passing it on to future children) if they plan to have children (unprotective sex)?

i have hep b, i took all 3 hep b series shot already; will this do any good for me?

if my wife took these 3 shots; will it really protect her from getting hep b from me?

Melissa Palmer, MD responded:
The hepatitis B vaccine should protect your spouse. There was no reason to get the HBV vaccine if you are already infected
