Hepatitus B and ALT score

An_248258 posted:
I've recently have been confirmed with hepatitus B and I"m in that 6-month window where I'm hoping that my body will fight the infection on its own. Last week, my ALT socre peaked at 3010 and upon re-testing it was down to 1840- normal is in the 40 range. I will re-test again next week and my doctor is monitoring this closely. Has anyone else seen such a high score? I recently received the first dose of the hep A vaccine and my doctor thinks that this might have caused the peak.
