Hep B Carrier

hepbcarrier posted:
I have been a persistent carrier of Hep B for over 25 years, without symptoms, liver enzymes normal, viral load under detection levels. I have always worried that this disease would rear it's ugly head at some point, mostly because my son has it, too. I fear for him more than myself. I'm 52, he's 25, healthy, married, wonderful. Neither of us has had to undergo treatment so far, but I've been having some unusual symptoms the past few days...just general fatigue, abdominal discomfort, some mild diarrhea. Until today, when I had a light colored stool and it scared me. I've made an appt. with my MD, but would appreciate any input.
Thanks.
