    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,
    WebMD Message Boards Management

    Progress!

I just wanted to share some news. I started week 12 and everything appears to be going well. The labs said my viral load was nearing 0 . The side effects are tolerable , with weight loss and fatigue being the worst. Have been able to keep working ,(although a bit slower and with sit down breaks). There is not a lot of communication with my doctor , he seems to be pretty busy , but I am assuming that the viral load news is good and the meds are working. If I complete the next 36 weeks and attain svr will I be finished with this ? If the virus is un-detectable can others still get it through blood-blood contact ? Many thanks to oldtiff and hcvpenut for the early support, I was pretty overwhelmed.

Great news! I'm right with you on tx. I will take my 14th shot of 50 (I had to start out with 2 partial doses first due to blood work). Hang in there. Weak, fatigue, shaky, a lot of sitting, short-winded, get cold easily. We only have 36 weeks left. We can do this thing!
