Recently, I gave a b12 injection to a patient and some excess b12 came out. I wiped it out with a cotton ball and noticed my fingers were wet. Can I get any diseases from this?
Nieciedo responded:
No. You would first need to have an open cut or sore on your fingers. There also need to be blood present, and of course the patient would also have to be HIV-positive.

I see no cause for worry.
