PEP needed??

I fingered a girl and don't know her status. She asked me to stop bc she seemed irritated and then I noticed there was blood on my fingers and she confirmed she was bleeding/irritated. I washed my hands and there was blood on my nails and fingers. Could I have been infected through my cuticles (sometimes they peel) or some other way? What are my chances that I'm infected assuming the girl is positive? Do you recommend I take PEP? I've never witnessed that before and I want to make sure and be safe.

No, you could not become infected through your cuticles. Peeling skin is not an open portal into your body.

There is no need for PEP in this instance.
