Is it ok for others to be around of a person who has HIV positive?
What should we be careful with?

Of course it's OK for others to be around someone who is HIV positive.

As long as there is no sharing of IV drug needles or engaging in unprotected sexual intercourse with the person who has this virus, there is absolutely no risk of picking up the virus from them.
