I had a Rapid HIV test done after two months of exposure and it was negative. I am really freaking out. I suffer from anxiety disorder already and this is definitely is adding to it. Can I rely on the results?

Depends on what your exposure was.

A test taken 1 month post exposure is considered to be 95 percent accurate. One taken 3 months post exposure is 99.9 percent accurate. One at two months falls somewhere inbetween these two statistics.

Thus, it would be highly, highly unusual that one would test negative at two months and positive at three.
