Ejaculate in mouth
An_252483 posted:

I am a male, and I received oral sex, unprotected, from a man whose status I do not know. This was in an adult bookstore, my first and only time, I'm going to assume that the guy has done this before, as he knew the rules. In any case, I did ejacutlae in his mouth. I did not see any blood, sores, etc in his mouth, although it was somewhat dimly light. I am wondering if ejaculting in someone's mouth increases the risk for the receiver? Should I consider testing? Thanks

Oral sex carries an extremely low risk of HIV transmission.

The statistics we use in terms of risk for unprotected oral sex are .5 to 1 per 10,000 exposures with a source KNOWN to carry the virus.

Your risk would be less since you cannot confirm your partners status.

In addition, the risk is always lower for the "insertive" (you) partner than the receiver (him) partner because of less contact with sexual fluids or blood.

If you remain concerned then consider getting tested at the 3 month mark.
