You can determine what your numbers mean and if you need to make adjustments. The first stop for information about your numbers should be your primary care physician. Did you get your blood pressure during an exam?

Be sure and ask your doctor about TLC (therapeutic life style changes).

Now I don't know anything about your age, weight, or other medical conditions.

But 148 is mild hypertension and can often be controlled by diet, lose of weight and increase in exercising.
