Because of a nasal drip i have started doing a nasal wash with salt and water. When you put nozzle in one nostril it comes out the other nostril. I have been doing this for the last 3 days and all of a sudden my blood pressure has risen to 174 over 80. i take blood pressure pills and it is usually about 130 over 80. Could the nasal wash have anything to do with this?

I doubt that it is from the sodium.

Might be some irritation of a nerve.

Try several days without the wash and then several days again with the wash. And see whats the BP does.
