Iphone BP cuff

There is a BP cuff that plugs into your Iphone and will trend your readings. Has anyone used one of these and was it accurate?

I don't know if any have been some to be any more accurate than others.

But this Heart Study associated with UCSF will work with either iHealth or Withings iPhone BP systems.

Both have a 3 mmHg accuracy.

I wouldn't trust any BP machine unless it went around your arm and plugged into the wall. Don't trust the wrist BP machine either. A phone isn't a very good substitute for the real thing.

Why must it plug into the wall? Even most physician grade systems are battery operated.

They just use the phone for processing and displaying the information.
