This started to happen 4 weeks ago as I was working I started to feel dizzy and was starting to notice I couldn't focus and was feeling like I was going to pass out. I felt like this for 3 days and at one point I was waiting in line to eat that I was going to pass out. So anyways I had high blood pressure at that time was 160/110. I've been on a med and now my BP is 120/88 ish. But It seems I've been getting worse BP if alright but yet it's hard to read, write can't concentrate having mood swings like not thinking before I speak. Im a healthy guy is shape my whole life. Not over weight I'm 6' 165 pounds. Had blood work done twice and everything came back as normal even my vitiman D. As wierd as this sounds is that if I drink 2 or 3 beer I feel better. It's prolly not helping out the situation but it seems to help my blurry vison that I have when I wake up till I go to bed. I get the old headache here and there but not all the time. I also feel like I'm un balanced and going to tip over at times. The doctor seems to think its bc of the high blood pressure I had. But it's been 3.5 weeks on normal BP on meds and I still feel the same.. Had my ears checked for infection came back fine. I do have a stiff neck at times but I also did muscle damage like 10 years ago so I'm used to that. If anyone has any ideas of what could be going on would be great. Alls I know I'm starting to go crazy and can't work bc of this. I go for a CT scan but it's not gonna be for awhile. Any advice would be great..

Have you had your blood sugar checked? It could be too low or too high. If you're diabetic, and your blood glucose is very high, it could cause symptoms like the ones you describe, as could very low blood sugar.

It's also possible that your symptoms could be a side effect of other medications you take, low vitamin B12, urinary tract infection, dehydration, or anxiety or panic attacks, among others.

Could the blurry vision just be something that needs to be corrected by glasses? Have you had your eyes checked recently?

I would not just accept that this is a result of your previous high BP. One thing you could do is take all of your medications, including OTC meds, to your pharmacist and see if any of those could be causing your symptoms.

If you haven't been tested for diabetes, that seems like a good next step.

It might also be good to see an ear, nose and throat specialist. Even if you don't have an ear infection, you might have a certain type of vertigo that can often be easily treated.

Best of luck. This sounds very frustrating, and I hope someone will be able to give you a diagnosis.

I wanted to add that uncontrolled diabetes can cause blurry vision and high BP, as well as your other symptoms. Blood pressure medication is often included as standard treatment for diabetes.

My sugar levels are normal. I did a fasting test for my blood work and everything came back fine. I only take 1 pill a day to keep my BP down but I didn't have sign effects from the pill. But I still feel like this. I had my eyes checked last year and I've always had good eyes. I don't know but it's been 3.5 weeks and I'm starting to think its a tumour :S waiting to get in for a CT scan but take awhile

Although possible, a tumor is pretty far down the list of likely possibilities. I hope you're able to get your CT scan soon, and get some answers.

My CT head scan came back with nothing so that's good. But I've been having the odd irregular heartbeat. Only when I do something fiscal. I go for a stress test in a week and a half. I wonder if that's what it could be. I did ECG twice and they came back fine but my blood pressure machine says I have it the odd time. Dizzy, headaches, hard to focus, sweat all the time. Seems the sunlight effects me more and makes me feel like I wanna pass out. I wonder if I should have chest ex rays or something? Can an irregular heartbeat be why I've had these systoms everyday for over 4 weeks?

Irregular heart beat can certainly have those symptoms.

Most likely, after the stress test, you will get a Holter/event monitor.

Those are small portable 4 lead EKG's that you wear for a period of time. They will see if the symptoms correlate to a change in heart rate.

Yeah I guess I will have it for 24 hours. I'm 28 years old and have working construction my whole life. Probably from the booze and cigs I've did over the years. I've started to change and not smoke as much. Been trying to get energy to work out but I get so tired. I hope it's not to late that I screwed my heart up. I'm not over weight I and I've been athletic my whole life. Hope just some changes and medication can help me go back to a normal life. I found out my family has had heart problems but no one has a pace maker or anything. I just want to be normal and get back to work again if I can.
