I'm really in need of some expert advice on this. I lost 97 lbs over the course of 2 years (149 at my lowest, but I currently maintain 155). I went from being severely obese (BMI of almst 40), and 30% bodyfat to a bodyfat of 11%. I had a underwater weighting test down (hydrostatic underwater bodyfat analysis) which measures your body fat based on the idea that fat floats. I do have loose skin from the weight loss, not a whole alot, but enough to cover up some defintiion of my muscles. At 11%, and about a half a year's time, to a year's time, the skin may be tightening up a little bit from my last post here. As, I can start to see the top and middle row of abs. My waist is 33 inches, although I wear a size 32 shorts. I was a size 48 waist.

Despite losing the excess weight, lifting weights, training hard and excerising, (Now I do 50-60 mile marathons on my bicycle across cities in my state), and proper diet which I learned about ( I plan to be a RD or registered technical dietician assistent to help others lose weight in nutrition, as i feel nutrition is one of the most important things in losing weight)...

I feel extremely frusterated. I was diagnosed with chronic fatique syndrome, with no known cause, primary, essenial hypertension (High blood pressure with no known cause), which I take 30 mg of linsopril for to keep in check at age 23. I have zero energy and am constantly tired. I should also note that I do have mental illness. I have major depression, and body dismorphia (I'm assuming a type of muscle dismorphia, but more of wanting to feel lean and muscular than bulky)
, as well as aspergers. I've been hospitalized several times for suicidal ideation.

the chronic fatique, combined with the high blood pressure, especiallly the fatique, and how I feel, completely drained all the time, has me worried and just contributes to the depression more. I'm in therapy for my BDD, although I'm not sure how effective it is. I don't feel i'm making much progress.

Here are some before and after pictures of the weight loss:

Kevin,
I am helping someone in someone with arterial hypertension find advice about losing weight. What kind of diet did you switch to when you decided to start, and what worked best?
