I've had two MD's tell me that only 1% of people taking Lisinopril have a side effect of hair loss. I have been researching this issue on my own since I am a chemist. First, Lisinopril is an androgen inhibitor. That means it inhibits with the amount of testosterone in the body. Woman have a certain amount as well and it helps with hair production and health. Hair so dry is becomes curly is a pretty good indication that this drug is not for you. I am researching other choices. Take lots of vitamins to combat the symptoms in the mean time.
