Hi, I have had IBS symptoms since I had my daughter in 2009. lately though the symptoms have been getting worse. My worse symptom is odorous flatulance. It is so embarassing and I fear being in an enclosed room. Can anyone offer some suggestions on what would help?

Have you tried eliminating all gas-producing foods from your diet like carbonated drinks, broccoli, cauliflower, sauerkraut, cabbage, lettuce/salads, beans, etc, and reducing caffiene? Eat foods that have water-soluble fiber- rice and oatmeal, not wheat or corn. Also, anything that you can do to reduce stress will help.
