I have suffered from IBS-D for several years & been on many different meds. Recently I was referred to a GI doctor. He recommended Citrucel & Align or a similar probiotic. After 2 weeks, I feel great & have only had one loose bowel movement which was quickly "halted" by 1 dose of Multi-Symptom Imodium. I've changed what I eat, cut down on my caffeine intake & also my cravings for "junk food" or sweets & this also has seemed to help a lot. Just thought I'd share this info with you all. Good luck
