I was diagnosed with IBS 10 years ago. It took a couple of years to get it under control. I lean more on the constipation side so have to bee aware of getting enough fiber in my diet.

I also havebeen dieting lately to be a healther me, I am 80 pounds over weight .Yesterday, I had chicken egg rolls and a large salad for lunch and it just about killed me. Bathroom trips for about 5 hours and pain in my abdomen and lower back. It make it hard to try to eat healthy if it is going to kill your insides.

Any suggestions?

Boar, you may want to consider getting some food intolerance testing done at some point. Many people who have been diagnosed with IBS could actually have problems with food allergies or a problem like celiac disease or other autoimmune issues that can make eating a miserable experience.
