Ive had unknown IBS most of my life and now at 22 i wanted to get to the bottom of it! Ive lived with pains bloating etc for years and though this was normal as it was part of my everyday life .... However when i drink alcohol im in agony and have even ended up in a and e because of the pain , i just cant walk ... My doctor diagnosed me officially with IBS a month ago ... And ive been told to take Buscupan (2 x 4 times a day) with this i also take a pro-biotic tablet (2 a day) and also lanzoprozole (1 a day) ..... This clears me of pains and bloating etc. My only concern is that i really dont want to be taking 11 tablets a day for the rest of my life ! But if anyone wants a quick fix this is a great option! Buscupan is £2.90 for 20 tablets in tesco and £3.50 in boots and cost me £7.49 from the doctors! You must buy the buscupan that say IBs relief on it! ( as there are two types of buscupan) Im using this as a quick fix for now till something better is available ... Hopefully a cure! Hope this helps ... Roxy xxx
