    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Is there something wrong with me?

I've been having trouble with pooping and I'm very unsure as of what's wrong. Two days ago, my poop was red and then I didn't poop for a day, and today it was black. And the water gets slightly red but it separates. I don't have any pain or anything, so I have no idea what's wrong with me. I do have a hemorrhoid however, but it's pretty minor..

Despite having no pain, if your fecal material is going from red to black, you need to check with your doc and talk to him/her about what's might be going on. The hemorrhoid could cause the reddish color, but the black (unless you took or ate something that could impart that color?) is not usual and should be investigated.
