My GI says I have IBS but I don't have cramping or diarrhea, just a lot of stools that pass. Every 20 min. for 2 hours some days, I have been on a "white Diet" for 2 years now, white bread, white rice, canned veggies and fruits, chicken,, turkey burger and fish. I am lactose intolerant, I eat dry rice chex cereal every morning w/a half of a banana. Can't have anything fried or fresh, so I have problems going out to eat and I have 2 cook 2 separate meals every nite. I am highly stressed, am on anti anxiety meds, IBS meds depression meds. And I am tired all the time. When it really flares up I am in bed because I have dumped so much I feel like I have the flu. Does anyone else out there have the same issues and can help with any suggestions for breakfasts! Is it worth looking into Heathers IBS cookbook?
