IBS Question

Hello, I have recently begun to suffer the effects of IBS, I think. A few years ago, I was suffering from the constant bloat, gas, stomach ache, and diarrhea. I always felt sick, especially after I ate. I went to a few doctor appointments and tests came back normal. I was prescribed a medication for GERD, which I stopped taking because of inconvenience (I know, a bad excuse). I am in the Spring semester of my Freshman year of college and recently I have been feeling the same symptoms. I wake up in the morning feeling nauseous and not very hungry. I eventually feel hunger later in the day, but the constant feel to defecate and pass gas is unbearable. I do believe I have been losing weight. I am wondering if this is just due to stress and I don't expect a definitive answer. Along with the digestive issues, I am fatigued. I do try to exercise and that keeps my symptoms at bay a little. Any comments are appreciated! At this point, I'm looking for support and advice on any recommended next courses of treatment. Thanks!
