I have had this same problem since I had my gall bladder removed about 18 years ago. Recently it has gotten worse. Anything with artificial sweetner such as aspertame makes it really bad. (By the way this is in everything. You have to read all the labels to find it. Sometimes it is sorbitol. I was chewing Doublemint gum thinking it was alright, but it has aspertame)

I have been taking enzimes for digestion and they help but I have to take them with every meal and I sometimes forget. This past week I have had really bad cramps just prior to the loose bowels. I have stopped eating popcorn altogether.

I eat plenty of fiber such as brocolli, beans, apples. I had a colonoscopy about 5 years ago and they did not find anything. I have gone to another doctor and he gave me a prescription that is for high colesterol and it helped for a little while. If things don't get alot better quickly I am going to have to find another doctor.
