My mother is 71 and has a problem with incontinence when she coughs, laughs, sneezes, etc... she is dealing with this with pads and panty liners. My question is, her urine is so strong and she says it stains her clothes after washing a light black or gray color. She drinks oodles of water. Is this the PH of her urine ?

Hello An_239728!

Thanks for writing about your mother. This article on Incontinence discusses the types and some possible treatment options.

However, I would suggest you may want to talk to your mother and encourage her to see her doctor. Not just for possible treatment options for incontinence, but also her concerns about her urine being so strong. She may have another issue going on in addition to the incontinence.

Let us know how she's doing,
