frequent urination
Anon_10343 posted:
I donot know if I have OAB or not, everytime I go to my doctor they say everything is o.k. But, I no that going to the bathroom like every 30 minutes and getting up all night is not normal. I had cysts and fibroids, but, they say they will go away with menopause, I have been in menopause for over a year now, My doctor put me on HRT, for the hot flashes, night sweats, and sleeplessness, the frequent urination is causing me to miss alot of sleep, I go before bed, get up within 2 hours and go, and then another 2 hours, when I finally get up I go, then seems like about every 30 minutes I am in the bathroom, I feel like I have to go all the time, Can someone please tell me if this could be OAB, even after I go I still feel like I have to, I can hold it, but, it hurts my stomach to do that.

Welcome Anon_10343 and thanks for posting today!

We don't have a Health Expert on this community, however I do have this article that talks about Urinary Issues and mentions frequency. Since everything is clearly not "o.k." for you, how about asking your doctor for a referral to a urologist? You may want to additionally ask about a gyno-urologist, since they specialize in women's urinary concerns.

This is clearly a problem for you and you deserve to have it recognized, diagnosed, and receive treatment so you can get some sleep.

Let us know how you're doing,
