    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I suffered from urinary retention for over a yr. and did my research found the Inter-Stim device and the rest is pleasant history. It turned my life around and I have never regretted it. Was a simple proceedure but i realize not everyone will feel that way. I am not a complainer and I made sure I new all the right questions to ask. I have had mine since May of 06'. I hope I never have to be without it. Yes it is true no MRI's but if a serious situation arose where you absolutely needed one the device can be removed until after the MRI. Not a big deal. I have nothing bad to say about it. I was in an accident and three out of the five sacral nerves were damaged and because the Inter-Stim bridges the gap between the sacral never and the brain and bladder I go just like I did prior to the accident. Thank you Medtronic!!!!!
