Interstim Therapy

Zomom99 posted:
I am scheduled to have the interstim therapy next month. I am concerned about some of the restrictions. The instructions I received mention that I have to turn off the device when I drive my car. Is that true? I am in and out of my car several times a day. What is the recovery period after the second procedure when the device is implanted under the skin? Not sure how much time I will be out of work. My consultation before the procedure isn't until the end of the month and I'd like to get some answers before then. Thanks!
