Me and my husband have two kids. We at least want one more. We have been trying for 4 months now and nothing. I didn't have to try with my first two it happen quick. Once I thought I was pregnant cause the day before my period I had pink-ish spotting, lasted a couple hrs. The day I was supposed to start same thing. I was feeling nauseous had headaches and cramps in my stomach; my appetite even changed. I took a pregnancy test it showed negative. All this lasted 2 1/2 weeks before I started my period. My mother-in-law says it's stress; but in that case I should never have a period! lol This never happen before. My cycle has always been normal and normal now. I have been wondering how ever if my weight was the issue. With my 1st child I gained 57lbs and with my 2nd child I gained 43lbs and now close to 200lbs. I've tried to loose it but its hard. It's so embarrassing! Over all I'm healthy.

4 months is not a long time. I know, this is not what you want to hear. My hubby and I have been trying for 8 months and still nothing. The experts say that most fertile couples will conceive within a year. I know you don't want to wait that long (I know I don't either...). Your weight could be playing a role in your fertility (I am overweight also) but if anything, your weight affects your ovulation so if you are still ovulating, then your weight is not an issue. Are you tracking your ovulation? Pay attention to your cervical mucus (you are looking for a raw egg white like consistency, clear and stretchy mucus, when you see that, it indicates ovulation is going to happen soon). I hope this helps. Good luck and baby dust to you.
