Hi Marquita,

I'm sorry you had lost the first one. But, maybe that should serve as a learning experience for you. Wanting to have a baby doesn't only mean getting ready for it mentally. Though, it is the best first step. Having a good mindset will help you a lot in your pregnancy.

The doctor's told you that there is nothing wrong except your weight. I think what they are trying to tell you is to help your body get ready for a pregnancy.

Your body will become a vessel for another human being for a period of time. It is only logical to prepare it for the journey ahead. It's like when you want to go on a road trip. You plan ahead and you make sure the car is in tip-top condition since it will carry you to your destination. Your safety depend upon its good state.

Having a baby is journey for you and your body. The safety and health of the child inside of you depends upon your own. The healthier you are, the healthier the baby will become. This is what the doctors mean. They want you to be in a better condition physically, so that you will have a good and easy pregnancy. It could be that right now your body is not yet ready for it. And, that is why you are having trouble in conceiving.

Take their advice to heart and do your best. Heartfelt and extensive effort is often rewarded handsomely. Goodluck! Hope you become healthier, as well as pregnant soon.
