    Hi All,

I've had the IUD (Mirena) since the birth of my second child back in 2005 ( years. I recently had it removed back in November as my husband and I are trying for another child (last one). My question is has anyone on this forum conceived after IUD removal? If so how long did it take for conception.?
    Thanks

    Hi jenny21582 and meld12,

While I don't have any experience with conceiving after IUD removal, I thought that you might be interested in this study and this WebMD blog post related to getting pregnant after stopping IUDs. I'm sure that other community members will be chiming in shortly!

    Best wishes,
    Atti
