    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for a little over a year. Neither one of us have children. His sperm is good. I had HSG today and found out that one of my tubes was blocked but the other one is open. This has been really stressful for me to understand and comprehend. So our next step is to go to a fertility specialist. What should I expect next? I never thought I would have problems conceiving so I'm at a loss for words and I'm kind of depressed about it. I would like to see how some of you women who have been through this have handled it and give me any ideas on what's to come.

    Hi jekjuly,

I am sorry that you are going through this on your journey to conceive. I am sure that the members of this board will chime in soon with stories of their own experience. Before they do, here is an answer from one of our experts about what to expect at a fertility evaluation and these frequently asked questions , some of which discuss doctors appointments, that you may find helpful.

    Best wishes,
