HI EVERYONE. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONCEIVE FOR 2 YEARS WITH MY HUSBAND AND IN THE BEGINNING I WAS SO SURE IT WOULD INSTANTLY HAPPEN AS I HAVE BEEN PREGNANT BEFORE, BUT NO SUCCESS TIL THIS VERY DAY. WHEN I LET 6-8 MONTHS GO BY I FINALLY ASKED HIM TO SEE SOMEONE AND CHECK OUT HIS SPERM COUNT ETC... I WENT AS WELL TO A SPECIALIST AND TURNS OUT EVERYTHING IS FINE WITH ME, BUT HIS DR SAID IT IS PRE-EJACULATION ISSUES (NOT SURE IF HE IS FORTHCOMING WITH EVERYTHING THE DR SAID) BUT AFTER ONLY 1 VISIT HE SAYS HE CAN FIX IT ON HIS OWN BUT IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND HE STILL HAS THE SAME ISSUE. IM STILL NOT PREGNANT AND I AM STARTING TO HAVE RESENTMENT TOWARDS HIM BC I CAN NOT CONCEIVE. HOW DO I APPROACH THIS TOPIC WITHOUT HURTING HIS EGO AND GETTING POSITIVE RESULTS ?

Hi nene108! I think all men have issues with their ego being hhurt and they may feel as if they are less than a man when they have these issues. My fiance and I have been trying to conceive for a while now and of course we had to go through tests and he had to have the sperm analysis. I just kept reassuring him that no matter what, we would get through this together. So let him know that you have with him all the way and that you will stand by him regardless of the results. This is not as easy for men to go through as it may be for wome. Best of luck girl!
