Is it normal to have your period 2x in one month. This happened to me in April and it is suppose to in Dec. SO far I got in the beginnning of the month and now i have period cramps again so any day now. I stopped taking BC about 5 months ago and have been ttc but no luck. Has this happened to anyone else?

Are you charting your BBTs? I often have 2 periods in one month because my cycle ranges from 21-27 days with 24 days being most common. It really isn't that unusual. You may want to chart your BBTs using fertilityfriend.com to ease your mind. Charts provide a lot of information.

That happened to me last January or February, but I had just gotten off the pill and the dr had given me Prometrium to start my cycle since it was really late. I just attributed it to that.

No I stopped charting my periods. Does this help in conceiving though?

Oh do you think when a woman gets her period twice that can help conceiving? I have a son already and i just did not think it would be so hard this time around.

I also had two periods in month in November and I had just stopped my BC in October. The dr said it was because I wasn't ovulating at all. He called it Anovulatory cycles.

EMMY1698 Thanks for replying. Did the doctor give you anything to make your periods regular?

He started me on Clomid on the 5th day of my cycle! He said that since we actually wanted to start having kids, he didn't want to put me on birth control to try and regulate it.

:Lurking: I get my period twice a month a couple times a year. Its normal....Put it this way....I have a completley normal 28day cycle. So if I get my period say January 1....then I will get it again January 28th. Completely normal. And sometimes my cycle is 25 days so if I got my period January 1 then I would get again January 25th. Its just depends on what time of them month you get your period. If this is your issue....No big deal...its just how your period falls in the that month. But if your period is all outta wack.....and less than 24 days it could affect your fertility and you may want to consult your doctor.

Your welcome! I just gave my dr the chart of my periods each month no matter if I had too or not. Hopefully, he/she will get you on track.
