Shatavari and FSH level?
avatar
Aixwatersm posted:
Hello,

I have just started the TTC process. On the first month my FSH level was checked, I was a 10. Shortly after that, I began to take shatavari as I heard that it was helpful with fertility-related issues. Two days ago, I had my day 3 FSH level tested again and it was an 18 this time. I have been really upset to think that my FSH could have gone up this month. I have read that shatavari is a phyto-estrogen. Could it have possibly elevated my FSH?

Thanks!

Hi,
I too used Shatavari and found that my FSH got elevated the month I was using shatavari. I think your observation is correct. After using Shatavari I got pregnant but later miscarried as soon as I stopped it. . Good luck to you.
