could it be ovulation?

According to calendars, I should be really fertile today. I took a OPK on Sunday, negative, we still TTC. Today I woke up with a high, soft cervix, CM is cloudy, can be stretched about 1/2 inch, and I feel wet, but not enough to reach panties. Could I be ovulating?

Sounds like you were probably ovulating. I guess you have a week to go before you can test. Were you taking your temp? Did it go up soon after?

Sounds like you are identifying the signs well. As an egg approaches ovulation, estrogen goes up and cervical mucus increases in water content to make it friendlier to sperm. The LH surge you are tracking on your kits usually occurs one to two days prior to ovulation. Temp rise occurs after the egg is out and the cyst of ovulation that develops where the egg grew produces progesterone. The cyst of ovulation can only last 2 weeks unless you are pregnant. So if you ovulated two weeks ago, you are in the correct window to check a pregnancy test.

My name is JaiMarie, I have this situation going on with me and I was wondering if you could help me figure out why Im going through this.For the past couple of months Ive been cramping really bad and there has been no cycle, and when it do finally come on, the cramps are worse. Im 21 yrs old, and Ive never had any problems with my cycle, cramps was never a problem, when my cycle was on, I never knew because I never fekt any pains in my stomach or none of that, now on the other hand my mother and my sister has the worst monthly cycles ever, and I be feeling so sorry for them because they be in so much pain, but Ive never had a problem with mine. But now all of a sudden im starting to have them with my cycle, and without my cycle being on. Its kind of scaring me because I dont know where this is coming from.....I need answers quick! Ive also been trying to conceive, but havent had any luck with that either, so I dont know if that has anything to do with it either, maybe? I really hope you can help. Thanks in advance.
