Pregnancy After a C-Section

Atorres525 posted:
I had a c-section 3 years ago & my husband had 2 hernia surgeries on his pubic area on both sides of his penis when he was very young. Now my husband & I are trying to get pregnant, is it more difficult to get pregnant after these surgeries due to scar tissue?

P.S. MY SON'S FATHER IS NOT MY HUSBAND. THIS IS WHY I'M QUESTIONING MY HUSBAND'S SURGERIES.

Yvette Smith, MD, MPH responded:
It should not be harder to conceive after these types of surgeries. He can be examined by a urologist though and a semen analysis would verify that no harm was done.
