Two periods with in days of each other

I am 39, I had my first ever pregnancy and miscarrage after 8 weeks of carrying on November 21,2011. I started my regular cycle on Dec. 21. I have been regular every month. My boyfriend and I would like to have a child together, we still make love on a regular basis, most of the time he does not release inside of me because I am still afraid. This month I had my period from March 20-25, and then on this past Thursday, 3/29 I saw pink when I went to the bathroom, on yesterday, I saw brown. All of these are first time things for me. Should I be worried. I am going to monitor the discharge for at least a week, and then call my doctor. I am thinking about doing a pregnancy test, I had no symptoms the first time outside of a missed period and tender breast. this time it's two periods within days of each other.

Why wait a week? Please take a pregnancy test and then call your doctor. Waiting is not going to help if there is an issue.

I finally went to the doctor on yesterday because I missed my April period, and then had some bleeding May 4-11. I am sooooo happy to say the I am seven weeks today. I pray for a normal, healthy, full-term pregnancy. I should be ringing in the new year with a bundle of joy!
I am overjoyed.

I live in the hunger zone and food has no taste anymore.
