Irregular Cycle After Colonoscopy

Anon_80633 posted:
I had to have a colonoscopy in February (thankfully everything is fine) but it completely threw off my cycle. My doctor said since the procedure can be traumatizing to the body that this can happen.
I have always been regular (28-30 days) but my past two cycles have been 37 days, 43 days, and right now I'm on day 44 for this cycle and no period. The hardest part is we are trying to get pregnant, and I have no clue when I'm ovulating or when I'm late. I've taken several pregnancy tests over the past 2 weeks, all are negative. It's very frustrating and expensive!
Has anyone experienced this? Any advice on getting back to normal?
