My bf and I have been ttc for almost 2 years now. I haven't been on bc since we've been together (3 yrs) due to it really messing with my TOM (3 wks at a time extremely heavy with a wk break and then again 3 wks and so on for 6 months). I've been checked out and they say all is fine, but they refuse to do anything for me and state to keep trying. BF will be checked out in June so not too sure on him yet (however he has gotten someone else pregnant in the past but she aborted the kid without his knowledge). We've done the OPT and have been active prior/during/after the positive OPT and still no such luck. I've been taking prenatals (heard that's supposed to help) for the past 4 months now. Still no luck. My TOM is always irregular, usually anywhere from 21-40 days, so it's getting tough to figure it all out and expensive for the OPT's. I've also been working out as I heard that can help too................ Please ANYONE who can give me advice, it would be so graciously appreciated!!! I'm getting so tired and angry and feel like it's just not ment to be for me in my lifetime. I'm only 26 but I don't want to wait forever! Both sisters have had 3+ kids and no women in my family have a history of not being able to conceive.................

Sounds like it's time for a new doctor! Check out the WebMD Infertility Center - it can give you some additional information about infertility and options to explore with a fertility specialist.

Generally speaking, fertility problems are not hereditary so your family history isn't an indication of your ability to get pregnant.

Best of luck to you -

Haylen
