I've always had exceptionally irregular periods. That being said, my fiance and I are trying to conceive. I started tracking my periods, etc. So when my period didn't start this month (keep in mind I have irregular periods) and I started to experience a lot of pregnancy symptoms, but have had a negative pregnancy test.
My symptoms are -
1. Nausea
2. Painful gums/teeth
3. Sore throat
4. INSANE sense of smell
5. bloating and abdominal stiffness(?)
6. Fatigue
7. Mood Swings
8...can't remember the rest.
If my periods were normal I should have started on the 20th of May. I still haven't started as of the 27th.
Is it possible to not test positive on a home pregnancy test? If so, when can I do a blood test at the dr?

Pregnancy Symptoms

Sore throat and painful teeth aren't on the list - you might have an infection or another health issue. If you are TTC, best to get any illness treated by your doctor.

If a home pregnancy test does not show you are pregnant (negative test), it is still possible that you may actually be pregnant . You should repeat the test in one week if your menstrual period has not started. If the repeat test is negative, probably you are not pregnant, but you should talk to your health professional about why you are not having periods.
