MY husband and I have been trying for over a year now to get pregnant. He is 30 and I am 24. I have been on Letrozole for the last 4 months and I have now been having 28 day cycles and 7 day periods. My husband when he was younger got a really bad kidney infection and it had moved in to his testicles. My Doc told us that this should not affect us getting pregnant. I was just wanting another opinion on this matter because I have a 4 year old and did not have any issues with getting pregnant with her.

Joel Bernstien, MD responded:
He can certainly get a semen analysis to see the quantity and quality of the sperm. It is a relatively inexpensive and easy test to do. Speak with your provider about it.
