Hi...I am 21 yrs old and have been off BC for 2 yrs now. I don't sleep around and go out and get drunk like most my age. I am looking to settle down and start a family. I have recently got with a great guy and we are hitting it off so well.. we have moved in together and are talking about the next big step. i have had a few mistakes in the past. and should have gotten pregnant but i didn't which is really good because it wouldn't have been the right time. Now that i found that one great guy and we both would like to have a baby it doesn't seem to be working. I don't understand whats wrong we are having great and passionate sex everyday except when on my cycle and nothing has happened except my period was a little late. I don't seem to have regular periods could that be why nothing is working? i have been trying to do everything i can to make my self healthier i am taking lots of vitamins that i know i am lacking, i am trying to quit smoking, i am not drinking. I am just not understanding.. and when i look back at mistakes that could have happened i think they SHOULD have happened but never. I am terrified of doctors and going to see one. so i am not sure if there is anything wrong with me physically but i feel like there is...and there is nothing i want more then to have a baby and start my family. what could i do to up my chances? what could be wrong with me??

There could be absolutely nothing wrong with you if you've only been trying for a little while, but the only way to know for sure is to go to the doctor. I know you hate that, but it may be the only way to know if there is a problem. It seems that you're doing everything you can to increase your chances, you may just need to give it a little more time. Good luck
